Leah Sarson is a PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University. She is also a Fellow at the Centre for International and Defence Policy at Queen’s University, as well as the lead organizer of the 2015 Women in International Security-Canada conference. She is actively involved on campus and has held professional positions at Simon Fraser University, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, among others. Leah’s research interests focus on Canadian foreign policy, international relations, and contemporary indigenous diplomacies.
